KD's Cabbage Steaks

 
Step 1: Cut 1" cabbage "steaks"
Step 2: Prep the underside of the thick-sliced bacon with KD's Killin' Sauce...customize the amt per steak/guest! (I like a lot...!!!)
Step 3: Pin the bacon to the "steaks" using toothpicks...pin the ends and top, make the bacon edge-to-edge.
Step 4: Roast at 380 degrees F for 20-25 mins until bacon is crispy! (note: use parchment paper for easier clean-up)
Step 5: Enjoy your favorite "side salad" while watching over and waiting for the steaks to finish!! ;-)
Step 6: Finished "steaks" should come out of the oven looking like this!

INGREDIENTS: 
* head(s) of Cabbage  (enuf to accommodate the # of 1" thick "steaks" desired) 
* Thick-Cut Bacon  (enuf to cover the cabbage steaks, edge to edge)
* KD's Killin' Sauce

STEPS:
1. Preheat oven to 380 degrees F
2. slice cabbages "vertically" into 1"+ "steaks"
3. slather on KD's KS to each bacon slice on its backside
4. pin the bacon to the cabbage at each end + on-top
5. Roast at 380 degrees F for 20-25 mins
(look for crispy, browned bacon on top!)
Note: I like to use parchment paper on regular cookie sheets for easier clean-up!
